Mary Ann Haley has been teaching for over 40 years, 22 of those years specializing in the Suzuki Violin Method. On the faculty of the Suzuki Music School of Arkansas for all of those 22 years, Teacher Mary has completed training in all the Violin Book with various Teacher Trainers, as well as several Over-views with Ronda Cole. She was Director of SMSA from 1995 to 2000, but resigned her position to focus on her studio and performing with the Arkansas Symphony. Along with her Suzuki Violin pedagogy, she teaches Groups, Musicianship and founded/coaches the Fayetteville Fiddle Choir.

Teacher Mary received her MM degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 1985 after which she became a member of the Cascade String Quartet and a National Young Audience performer. Having toured and performed over 1000 educational concerts throughout the Northwest, Mary has always loved working with all ages and abilities.
