DEC 14-16 Your Arkansas Symphony invites you to bring family and friends to the Robinson Center for a fun-packed holiday music extravaganza! Kids aged one to one hundred should put on a holiday sweater, grab your favorite holiday candy, and settle in to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!

JAN 26 - 27 Verdi's Overture to La forza del destino, Chopin's Piano Concerto No., with Artist of Distinction Andrew von Oeyen, and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3, "Scottish."

JAN 29 Haydn's String Quartet, Op. 20, No. 4, Chopin's Selections for Solo Piano, and Enesco's Piano Quintet in A minor.

FEB 23 - 24 Beethoven's Symphony No. 9: Ode to Joy.

FEB 26 Janáček's String Quartet No. 1, Puccini's String Quartet in D Major, Verdi's String Quartet.

FEB 9-10 Oscar "Andy" Hammerstein III, grandson of the beloved librettist and lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II, hosts a celebration of some of America's most cherished music from the stage.

APR 13 - 14 Saint-Saëns' Samson et Dalila, Ravel's Tzigane, Beethoven's Romance No. 2, Tchaikovsky's The Sleeping Beauty, and Enesco's Romanian Rhapsody.

APR 16 Debussy's Violin Sonata, Poulenc's Sextet for Piano and Winds.

MAR 9-10 Beatlemania is back with Classical Mystery Tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band!

MAY 4 - 5 Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik, Fine's Concerto for Oboe Section, Brahms' Hungarian Dances, and Liszt's Les Préludes.

MAY 7 Ravel's Sonatine en Trio, Francaix's String Trio, Pärt's Fratres, Dillon's Multiplicity, Gardel's Por una Cabeza.

MAY 11-12 Experience all the mystery and fun of their unforgettable adventure in the beloved movie that captivated audiences around the world, complete with John Williams' Academy Award-winning score performed live by a full symphony orchestra in sync to the film projected on a huge HD screen!

Designer House 2018 is located at 8 Valley Creek View in Valley Falls Estates, a gated community. Visitors are asked to follow instructions posted at the keypad entrance at the gate. Please do not double park on streets or block driveways or mailboxes. Thank you.

About Designer House XXIV

The 24th Arkansas Symphony Designer House will be open to the public from April 13 to May 13, 2018. The exquisite home in Little Rock's Valley Falls Estates will showcase the work and inspiration of Arkansas' most talented designers. 

Since 1974, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Guild has presented the Symphony Designer House featuring some of Little Rock’s finest homes decorated by Arkansas’s premier designers. In 2004, Symphony Designer House earned the Guild a nationally recognized award from the League of American Orchestras for excellence and creativity in fundraising.

Designer House 2018 is made possible with the support of the following sponsors: PC Hardware, & Design, At Home in Arkansas, Legacy Wine and Spirits, Ghidotti Communications, Party Time Rental and Events, and B98.5 FM.

Proceeds from Designer House will benefit the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and music education programs throughout Arkansas.

No infants or children under 10, please. 

Hours

Designer House will be open daily from 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday through Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sunday, (closed on Monday).

Tickets

Tickets are available at the door for $20 for single-day tour and $35 for run of show.

Concerto Café

The Concerto Café, featuring delicious selections prepared daily by Mary Wildgen and Gail Davis, will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Reservations are encouraged for parties of 6 or more; please text (501) 804-0106.

Designer House will be one of the most exciting events this spring in Central Arkansas and will include four signature parties, including the sneak peek Bare Bones Party on February 15, the opening night Crescendo Preview Party on April 12Girls' Night Out fun on April 19, and the festive Tres De Mayo Party on May 3. Tom Chandler will be moderator, with Larry West Jr., Valerie Erkman, Mac Murphy and Torrie Cobb on the panel answering your questions about all aspects of home design. OUTDOOR YOGA: PRACTICE FOR A PURPOSE: APRIL 28 (10:30 am), on the lawn of Designer House. Led by yoga instructor Catherine Burton of Big Rock Yoga, this event will include a Lululemon pop-up shop, refreshments and tour of the house. TRES DE MAYO FIESTA: MAY 3 (6 p.m.) Piñata mascot Esteban will lead the fun and games, with great prizes, salsa and tango dance lessons and Alice 107 dj Moose bringing music.
