Beer & Brats Street Party

Join us for the annual Beer & Brats Street Party at Beethoven & Blue Jeans!

Who can attend? Anyone with a ticket to the November 9th or 10th Beethoven & Blue Jeans concerts. Patrons of all ages may enter and get a brat, but ID must be provided for patrons 21 and up to purchase beer.

What is the Street Party? We will close the street in front of the Robinson Center to cook brats (free!) and serve beer (Stone's Throw) to any patron with a concert ticket! The Episcopal Collegiate School Steel Band will provide musical entertainment. Each year ASO patrons donate hundreds of pounds of food to Arkansas Food Bank as they enter the party.

Where is the Street Party? On West Markham Street in front of the Robinson Center (400 block, between Broadway and Spring Street).

When is the Street Party? The party is from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday, November 9th and from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., Sunday, November 10th.

Why do we have the Street Party? To have fun before an exciting and inspiring concert, and to welcome people to a symphony experience they may not be expecting. If you know someone who thinks the symphony is too formal for them, tell them to put on their jeans and join us for a brat, a locally brewed beer, and a concert featuring jeans-wearing musicians performing awesome music!

Is there a t-shirt? Glad you asked! You will be able to buy a t-shirt from Hillcrest Waterbugs at the event. They are a locally-owned, environmentally friendly company. You can even buy two - or more!
