The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra is proud to present Igor Stravinsky’s brilliant theatrical work The Soldier’s Tale in partnership with the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts and Ballet Arkansas. Immerse yourself in the World War I-era story of a young soldier who sells his violin to the devil in exchange for access to unlimited wealth. Needless to say, it doesn't go well. 7 musicians, 3 actors, and a ballet dancer present this whimsical yet poignant tale, set to music by one of the greatest composers of the 20th century. The artistic team includes Geoffrey Robson, music director and conductor; Katie Campbell, stage director; and Michael Fothergill, choreographer.
This program is available to a limited in-person audience and a delayed video stream. In-person tickets and access to the stream are available for a $10 minimum donation:

The program will be performed for an invited audience of subscribers and members only at the Robinson Center on April 10-11 and streamed for a minimum $10 donation beginning April 17 and staying up for at least two weeks.
