ASO is performing a free concert for the community on September 16, 2021 at 7:30 PM: Celebrate Little Rock Together!
The concert, sponsored by the Stella Boyle Smith Trust and presented in partnership with Dunbar Historic Neighborhood Association, is a preview of the wonderful 2021-2022 season in-store, featuring:
- Selections from Dvorak’s New World Symphony
- Florence Price’s Piano Concerto, featuring world-renowned Price expert, Karen Walwyn– a world premiere of Price’s orchestration!
- Music from Bernstein and Gershwin
- Vocalist Genine LaTrice Perez performing songs from Aretha Franklin
