Juneteenth in Da Rock Affiliates Presents: ASO Jazz Concert

The Arkansas Symphony Orchestra is a proud affiliate of Mosaic Templars’ Juneteenth in Da Rock celebration. This event honors the legacy of African American emancipation and will feature music by Black jazz composers.

The evening will include a performance by the Art Porter Minors in Music, an organization dedicated to jazz education for youth, starting at 6:30 pm.

Following a community update from the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, the ASO Jazz Combo will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. to perform Miles Davis’ legendary 1959 album “Kind of Blue” in its entirety.

This concert is FREE to the public and will be outside on the lawn of the ASO Music Center (1101 East Third St., Little Rock, AR 72202) from 6-9 pm. There will be food trucks and a cash bar! Bring your lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and any food or beverages you would like. We will provide some chairs and water at our venue.
