Several great composers grew up and lived in Arkansas! This program features music by Scott Joplin, Florence Price, William Grant Still and Jeremy Crosmer.
The Science of Sound – with the Rockefeller Quartet
Discover wavelengths and how string instruments create different types of sound. This program includes music by Antonio Vivaldi, Gioachino Rossini, Joseph Haydn and Samuel Barber.
Folk Music – with the Rockefeller Quartet
Hear music from all over the world and how that music reflects different cultures. Students will hear music from Ireland, Hungary, South Africa, Argentina and America.
