Christina Littlejohn, Chief Executive Officer

Christina Littlejohn has led the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra since 2009, navigating it from near bankruptcy to financial health and artistic excellence. Under her leadership, ASO raised $11.75M to build the ASO Stella Boyle Smith Music Center, which opened in September 2024. During the pandemic, ASO's Bedtime with Bach series reached over one million people in thirty countries. She was honored with the 2023 Governor's Arts Award for Community Development.

Geoffrey Robson

Geoffrey Robson, Music Director

Named Music Director of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra after a four-year nationwide search, Geoffrey Robson has emerged as a force of artistic leadership throughout the United States. His dynamic leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic brought national visibility to ASO, with the Bedtime with Bach series featured by the Washington Post and the Kelly Clarkson Show. He played an integral role in planning and securing funding for the $11.75 million ASO Stella Boyle Smith Music Center.

Valery Saul, Associate Conductor

Described as a "powerful presence on the podium" by Marin Alsop, Valery Saul is Associate Conductor of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and serves as cover conductor for the Minnesota Orchestra, Oregon Symphony, and Charlotte Symphony Orchestra. She has led ASO to acclaim in diverse programs including Pops concerts, Ballet Arkansas' The Nutcracker, and as Music Director of Arkansas Repertory Theater's Hello, Dolly! A graduate of Peabody Conservatory, she is also a professional opera singer.
