A native of Indianapolis, IN, Maddi Shake is the Principal Percussionist of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and Britt Festival Orchestra.

Maddi has appeared as an extra with various orchestras across the United States, including the New York Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, Kansas City Symphony, Omaha Symphony, Tulsa Symphony Orchestra, and the Vancouver Symphony USA. She is also an active chamber musician, having performed on the Arkansas Symphony's River Rhapsodies series and with the newEar Contemporary Chamber Ensemble in Kansas City.

Maddi is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and Roosevelt University. Her education also included one year at DePaul University and multiple summers at the Music Academy of the West and Texas Music Festival.

In addition to performing, Maddi has presented educational clinics throughout the country and enjoys teaching privately. She is a proud endorser of Grover Pro Percussion.
