Dr. Ruth Allen, the former associate dean for academic affairs in the UAMS College of Health Professions, endowed the concert series before her death in 2023. She aimed to “promote the beautiful music of the ASO” and to provide hardworking UAMS students, staff, and faculty with an opportunity for celebration and renewal.
