For the first time ever, your ASO will host a singing competition! Arkansas Talent kicked off in November, when a panel of celebrity judges selected 12 of the nearly 100 auditioners to move on to the competition’s semifinals. 6 of the semifinals were chosen to move on to the final round in May. They range in age and represent all walks of life. Two winners will then be chosen and have the opportunity to collaborate with ASO in multiple ways, including headlining its popular Home for the Holidays concert in December. Arkansas Talent judges are three well-known Arkansas musicians: “American Idol”’s Season Eight Winner Kris Allen, recording artist Bonnie Montgomery and local jazz musician Rodney Block. They are joined by ASO Music Director Geoffrey Robson.
